Founder / CEO
Mullings has a combined 17 years of experience in the Home Improvement & Construction Industry, Kendon Construction LLC, founded in 2017. Mullings attended Turner Construction School (Certification), NEW-NYC, (Certification) Apex Technical School, and Thomas Edison University. Establishing the company was to create a diverse work environment and equal opportunities as an efficient, effective, and competitive brand.
Kendon Construction provides general construction services with experience working on both residential and commercial projects. Kendon Construction is a certified WOSB/WBE, MWBE, SBS, with New York State and New York City. Also, a DBE Firm with PANYNJ and an SBA WOSB accredited firm. This business is in a HUBZone, which makes the company an excellent candidate for niche opportunities.
Chief Executive Officer
Sanchez has over a decade of hands-on experience in demolition, renovations, and general construction. Sanchez watched his grandfather, a tradesman who bought and flip dilapidated buildings and turn short investments into long-term property investments for profit. Growing up in the business, his grandfather sparked his ambition, drive, and dedication to his successful construction career. Sanchez has worked for high-end companies such as AJD Construction, Torcon Inc., Structure Tone, and Turner Construction. He has worked on multi-million-dollar projects for Merck & Bristol Meyers, St. Barnabas, Morristown Memorial, Jersey Shore University Medical Hospitals, The Mall at Short Hills, Garden State Plaza, and Princeton University (LEED) Jadwin Hall. Always working towards achieving new heights, Sanchez has grown from an apprentice, journeyman, site supervisor, project manager, to now partner of Kendon Construction.
Chief Financial Officer
Torres has an extensive background in finance with over a decade and a half of experience. Torres attended Seton Hall University. He was working in both retail and commercial banking for one of the nation's largest financial institutions. Torres managed relationships for companies that range up to 25MM in annual sales. Gauging needs and problem-solving for daily and intricate necessities for business operations, lending, and cash management. Over the last six years, he has invested in a multitude of several successful ventures. He successfully grew a single owner-operator LLC into a double-digit fleet with over 15 employees. As an investor in an insurance agency with one of the world's largest insurance carriers, he assisted in doubling the company's financials within the first year. In 2019 he embarked on his journey into the construction industry and a partner of Kendon Construction.
